The HR Transformation opportunity
The HR Transformation team is expanding. Our focus is on partnering with clients to shape and navigate their evolving People agendas. We aid in building functions that are business-focused, cost-effective, and agile by reimagining how HR can meet the specialised needs of stakeholders. A core strategy is the incorporation of Global Business Services (GBS) models, which act as a strategic enabler for HR organisations undergoing transformation.
Our HR Reimagined team offers strategic advisory services that cover end-to-end HR strategy through the delivery of value-added services and HR experience design. We leverage GBS to streamline processes, enhance service delivery and drive business value. This involves looking beyond routine HR operations and focusing on a Strategic People function that can drive change.
We’re seeking team members who bring a fresh approach to delivering HR strategy. We value experience in designing future-ready HR GBS functions, leveraging technology and Gen AI to enhance client experience. The ideal candidates guide and challenge clients’ thinking to create bespoke, optimised HR functions that serve the business better. Our focus is on leveraging GBS and technology to enrich the employee experience.
Being successful as a Senior Manager
We are looking for dynamic individuals who can demonstrate real impact within businesses to help transform some of the world’s most respected private and public sector organisations. You will build on experience across multiple components of HR, including HR Operating and Service Delivery Model, Future of HR, HR Capabilities development and HR Strategy.
Experience and capabilities we’re looking for:
* Experience of leading multiple HR Transformation workstreams to support organisations in developing future HR Operating models
* Leadership of teams to deliver complex, interdependent deliverables, e.g., C-Suite level presentations, workshop documentation, and process localisation and documentation build workshops
* Experience leading HR and HR Service Delivery Transformation, focusing on changing how HR and GBS functions operate and increasing capabilities
* End-to-end GBS experience—from strategy and design to implementation
* Management of HR organisation design—creating an HR Operating Model that deploys the right skills at the right time and is enabled by smart technologies
* Development of tailored HR visions and strategies using Global Business Services models
* Experience establishing new or optimising GBS operations to drive efficiency with Automation and AI, providing insights and strategic recommendations
* Ability to assess and design GBS functions to maximise client services and ROI within HR
* Understanding of how different GBS models fit various client sectors and how to mature a client’s GBS function
* External curiosity, developing future points of view and insights for EY
* In-depth knowledge in one area of HR (e.g., HR Shared Services/GBS, HR Operating model design, HR Strategy, or HR capability development)
* Preparing materials for immersive client workshops to shape HR strategy, Operating Model and Service Delivery design
* Leading client engagements with multiple work streams and workforce optimisation interventions across sectors
* Developing detailed implementation roadmaps, risk mitigation and governance plans with project reporting
* Ability to solve complex business problems using analytical skills and evidence
* End-to-end HR GBS design experience from strategy to implementation, ideally in a group functional transformation context
