Reporting directly to the Managing Director and Owner, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, operational excellence, member retention, team performance, and digital brand presence across all three GymWorks clubs. The Opportunity As Head of Sales & Operations, you will take ownership of the overall commercial and operational performance of the business. You will work closely with Club Managers and department leaders to maximise membership sales, improve member engagement, enhance operational standards, and ensure every GymWorks club consistently delivers a market-leading experience. This role offers genuine influence and the opportunity to play a key part in the future development and expansion of the GymWorks brand. Key Responsibilities Sales & Commercial Performance Develop and implement strategies to drive membership sales and revenue growth. Lead, coach and motivate club management teams to consistently exceed sales targets. Monitor sales pipelines, conversion rates, lead generation activities and performance metrics. Identify opportunities to improve secondary spend and ancillary revenue streams. Analyse business performance data and implement improvement plans where required. Must have an excellent knowledge of social media and digital marketing, with the ability to drive online engagement, lead generation, brand awareness and membership growth across all clubs. Operations & Member Experience Ensure exceptional operational standards are maintained across all clubs. Drive a culture of outstanding customer service and member retention. Monitor member feedback and implement initiatives to improve satisfaction and loyalty. Ensure all clubs operate efficiently, profitably and in line with company standards. Oversee compliance with health & safety, employment and operational procedures. Leadership & People Development Lead, develop and support Club Managers and department heads. Create a high-performance culture built around accountability, engagement and continuous improvement. Support recruitment, succession planning and talent development across the business. Conduct regular performance reviews and business planning meetings. Strategic Development Work closely with the Managing Director to deliver business objectives and growth plans. Contribute to strategic planning and future club development opportunities. Identify operational efficiencies and opportunities to improve profitability and performance. About You You will be an experienced multi-site leader with a proven track record of driving commercial success and operational excellence. Essential Skills & Experience Proven senior management experience within the fitness, leisure, hospitality or service sector. Demonstrable success in driving sales growth and business performance. Experience managing multiple locations or departments. Strong commercial acumen and understanding of key business metrics. Excellent leadership, coaching and people management skills. Ability to influence, motivate and develop high-performing teams. Exceptional organisational and communication skills. Must have an excellent knowledge of social media and digital marketing. A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a strong attention to detail. Desirable Experience within health clubs, gyms or leisure operations. Knowledge of membership-based business models.
