Job Title: Band 6 Occupational Therapist - Stroke & Neurology Location: Warrington Hospital - Warrington Client: Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust p/h Job Overview Bluestones Medical is currently recruiting for a motivated Band 6 Occupational Therapist with Stroke and Neurology experience to join a well-established therapy team based at Warrington Hospital. This role offers the opportunity to work across inpatient services, intermediate care, and Early Supported Discharge (ESD), supporting patients throughout their stroke rehabilitation journey. The position would suit an Occupational Therapist who is passionate about stroke and neurological rehabilitation and enjoys working within a supportive, multidisciplinary team environment. Key Responsibilities Provide specialist occupational therapy assessment and treatment for patients with stroke and neurological conditions. Work across inpatient rehabilitation, intermediate care, and Early Supported Discharge services. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including Physiotherapists, Nurses, and other Allied Health Professionals. Deliver patient-centred rehabilitation plans to support recovery and independence. Work both independently and as part of an experienced therapy team. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in line with NHS standards. Requirements HCPC registered Occupational Therapist. Previous experience in stroke rehabilitation. Experience working within inpatient and/or community rehabilitation settings. Experience supporting Early Supported Discharge (ESD) services is desirable. Experience supervising junior staff or students. Strong organisational, communication, and time management skills. Ability to work effectively within a busy multidisciplinary service.
