Airframe Integration manager – Trent 1000
Full Time (Secondment until end May 2027)

There is an exciting and rewarding opportunity for an Airframe Integration Manager on the Trent 1000 programme.
Reporting to the Chief Project Engineer (CPE), you will be responsible for supporting the CPE in managing the engineering interface with Boeing and project engineering tasks on the Trent 1000 programme. You will lead a small project engineering staff team as part of this.
This role of Airframe Integration Manager on the Trent 1000 programme is a secondment opportunity until the end of May 2027.
What you will be doing:
In the Airframe Integration Manager role, you will manage and co-ordinate with Boeing for all engineering change and safety issues, whilst maintaining the Boeing technical specification and interface definition. You will also:
* Co-ordinate the various working groups between Rolls-Royce and Boeing to ensure all engineering deliverables are managed to completion.
* Ensure Boeing technical and certification requirements are understood and met within the engineering team and that all technical correspondence with Boeing is working.
* Co-ordinate all technical meetings with Boeing whilst ensuring the commercial implications of engineering actions with Boeing are recognised within the project.
* Raise awareness of Boeing's position and requirements in Rolls-Royce and act as Rolls-Royce's voice with Boeing, thus fostering collaboration between the two teams.
Position qualifications:
* Degree level qualification in an engineering, scientific or mathematical discipline and have basic engine knowledge across a gas turbine product.
Preferred requirements:
* Strong leadership behaviours in a demanding project environment, comfort with ambiguity and have the ability to influence at all levels of the business.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and strong cultural awareness are equally crucial for the role.
* Technical programme management experience in the gas turbine industry and familiarity with the product change process, risk management processes, requirements development and verification desirable.
