You will be our growth-obsessed marketing guru, the driving force behind generating the necessary leads for new customer acquisition and repeat business across our two cultural adventure, destination specialist travel brands in our three sales countries: the UK, USA and Australia. You might not have all the answers when it comes to international growth, but you know how to ask good questions. Plus, you will be working with the Global Head of Marketing and senior strategic colleagues in those locations to define the way forward.
This role is a unique opportunity for a hands-on marketer who thrives on execution, change and progress. You will be well versed in driving immediate commercial impact. We are a fast-growth, investor-backed business, and so a “Head of role” progression will be available in the future, as well as growing an international team.
Travel is not e-commerce, the purchase journey is long and considered. That’s why we’ve invested in Hubspot, and you’ll be excited by the opportunity to leverage beautiful, immersive, engaging, thoughtfully designed content and experiences to create a highly optimized customer journeys. We are all about brand, and our brand is all about people. That means our marketing and content will be personal and interesting. We will never be entirely online, either. So, you’ll look for effective ways to blend online/ offline touchpoints.
If you are smart, strategic, commercial marketer who can ideate campaign idaes on the fly and loves to experiment this could be for you. Our team is a a mature but agile structure, you’ll work alongside great colleagues in Digital Experience, PR/ Comms and Branded Content to achieve ambitious growth goals. Sound fun?

Required skills
* Proven experience leading a marketing team to grow revenue in a scaling organisation
* An ability to see the big picture, help others to see the big picture and, most importantly, understand how everything fits together (within the business, within the marketing approach)
* Experience creating/ optimizing a funnel-led marketing approach, an appreciation of the messy middle and tactical ways to shorten a buyer journey
* Hands-on experience managing agencies and in-house experts on strategy and execution across PPC, SEO, email and social
* Great management skills and the ability to motivate and excite a team
* Experience with pooling data from multiple platforms, especially Google Analytics, CRM, and Power BI dashboards to develop comprehensive and reporting that drives decision making.
