We are working with a fast-growing and high quality special education school in Tiverton who are looking to recruit a SEN Teaching Assistant. Working with young people with a statement of social, emotional and mental health or autism, you will provide a pivotal role in supporting high quality teaching and learning.
You will be part of a multi-diverse team who work relentlessly to help students thrive as strong, independent and resilient individuals. If you are a proactive, enthusiastic and resilient individual looking to make a difference to young peoples’ lives, this could be the job for you!
You will benefit from regular staff training and opportunities to up-skill in this specialist line of work. You will be working with small groups of young people so you will have an excellent opportunity to build meaningful relationships and make a real difference.
We welcome candidates from a variety of backgrounds who bring a wide range of experiences. A background in support or care work makes for a great transition into education.
This will be a full time position working Monday to Friday, term time only.
