As the Nursery Deputy Manager, you will work closely with the Nursery Manager to ensure that the nursery runs smoothly and that children receive the best possible care and education. You will play a key role in leading the team, fostering a positive environment, and supporting the overall development and well-being of the children.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the Nursery Manager with the day-to-day management of the nursery.
* Support the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities according to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including health and safety laws.
* Provide guidance and support to nursery staff, encouraging professional development.
* Build positive relationships with children, parents, and external partners.
* Actively promote a safe, secure, and stimulating environment for children.
* Lead by example and be a positive role model for both staff and children.

Requirements
* Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years that is full and relevant.
* Proven experience in a nursery or early years setting.
* Leadership or Management experience is highly required.
* Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and regulatory requirements.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Commitment to providing high-quality care and education.
* DBS clearance and safeguarding training.
