This role supports the home-based Engagement Leads and Activity Organisers, coordinating initiatives that cultivate meaningful connection, therapeutic enrichment, and inclusive participation. Key Responsibilities Engagement Coordination Support and mentor home-based Engagement Leads and Activity Organisers to deliver vibrant, evidence-informed wellbeing engagement programmes Coordinate shadow shifts and onboarding support for new team members, nurturing values-led practice Lead and evaluate community dementia projects aligned with B&M Care's Enhanced Rose Model vision Home Leadership & Support Schedule and conduct internal audits around wellbeing activities, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement Support the home to deliver actions agreed from audits Champion and facilitate PCS (Person-Centred Software) training and ongoing digital fluency for engagement staff The Hideaway Support, and cover for, The Hideaway Promoter Support The Hideaway Promoter to link with the home managers and engagement leads to coordinate meaningful events and visits to the hideaway Community & Event Engagement Liaise with external partners to initiate and sustain community-based engagement initiatives Coordinate events and focus groups with The Head of E&W Facilitate mini bus awareness training to include competency to drive and health and safety aspects Support homes to translate resident feedback and lived experience into co-designed engagement activities/QA Qualifications & Experience NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent desirable, NAPA qualification Demonstrable experience in resident wellbeing, activity coordination, and community engagement within a care setting Strong knowledge of dementia and care Proficient in digital systems such as PCS, Microsoft, excel and PowerPoint Full driving licence and use of own car Flexibility to work as support is planned to meet the needs of the care homes Personal Attributes Empathetic, Organised, Resourceful Strong communication Mentoring skills This job description reflects the present requirements of the post.
