We are now seeking an experienced Environmental & Sustainability Manager to help shape and deliver our environmental strategy across the business.
About the Role
As our Environmental & Sustainability Manager, you will define, implement, and continually evolve our sustainability strategy across the business. You’ll work with teams across all sites to reduce our environmental footprint, ensure compliance, and embed a culture of continuous improvement.
You will be responsible for managing key sustainability indicators, reporting performance, identifying risks, and leading initiatives that drive impactful change in areas such as energy reduction, waste management, recycling, and carbon emissions.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and deliver the company’s environmental and sustainability strategy.
* Monitor and report on key environmental metrics (energy, waste, recycling, Scope 1–3 emissions).
* Drive progress toward net‑zero through carbon reduction and efficiency initiatives.
* Conduct site audits and implement best‑practice improvements.
* Maintain certifications and ensure compliance with ESOS, SECR, and ISO14001 expectations.
* Manage relationships with recycling and waste partners.
* Support operational areas including recycling, food waste, energy reporting, and Agrigrub processes.
* Collaborate with teams across the business and champion sustainability engagement.
About You
* Degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability Management, or similar.
* Experience with ISO14001, ESOS, and SECR compliance.
* Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.
* Proven experience in a similar sustainability-focused role.
* High attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
