Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their established commercial team.

Based from their North Manchester office, the successful candidate will be involved in a diverse range of refurbishment projects across Manchester and Lancashire, working closely with operational teams to ensure successful commercial delivery from inception through to final account.

The Role Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will take responsibility for the commercial management of refurbishment and improvement projects from pre-construction through to final account.
Projects are varied and may include commercial refurbishments, education schemes, healthcare projects, office fit-outs, public sector upgrades and general building refurbishment works.
You will work closely with site teams, subcontractors, consultants and clients to ensure projects are delivered successfully whilst maintaining robust commercial control throughout.
Key Responsibilities Full commercial management of refurbishment projects
Procurement and management of subcontract packages
Preparation and administration of subcontract agreements
Cost reporting, forecasting and budget control
Valuation and payment of subcontractor accounts
Management of variations and change control
Preparation and agreement of final accounts
Identification and management of commercial risks
Liaison with clients, consultants and operational teams
Supporting successful project delivery from inception to completion
Monitoring project performance against budget and programme
Producing accurate monthly commercial reports
Requirements Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry
Experience working on refurbishment, fit-out or general contracting projects
Strong commercial awareness and contractual knowledge
Experience managing subcontract procurement and accounts
Ability to manage projects independently
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Proactive and organised approach to project delivery
Full UK driving licence
