Educate Excellence is a thriving tutoring centre in Streatham, dedicated to providing outstanding Maths, English, Science, and 11+ preparation for students aged 5–16. We are now looking for a dependable, adaptable, and resourceful Personal Assistant to work closely with our Founder and Director. This position spans both business and personal responsibilities, making it a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and working in a fast-moving environment.
Main Duties
Executive Support
* Deliver day-to-day administrative assistance to the Director, including scheduling, project support, and correspondence.
* Oversee calendar management, meeting organisation, preparation, and follow-ups.
* Carry out research, prepare documents, and coordinate ongoing projects.
* Act as a point of contact for staff, parents, and external partners on behalf of the Director.
Personal Support
* Handle personal administration such as travel arrangements, appointments, bookings, and general household organisation.
* Assist with prioritising tasks to ensure a healthy balance between professional and personal commitments.
Finance & Bookkeeping Assistance
* Track and record business and personal expenses.
* Help manage invoices, receipts, and reconciliations.
* Coordinate with accountants or finance teams when required.
Role Information
* Hours: 10–20 per week
* Schedule: Flexible, with some availability needed during weekday hours
* Location: Hybrid – remote working plus on-site support at our Streatham office (and occasionally nearby locations)
About You
* Previous experience as a PA, EA, or senior administrator, ideally working at Director or business owner level.
* Familiarity with bookkeeping or financial admin (experience with Xero is advantageous).
* Highly organised, dependable, and confident managing multiple priorities without close supervision.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Professional, discreet, and approachable.
* Comfortable supporting across both professional and personal matters.
