What You’ll Be Doing
As their Information Security Manager & Assurance Lead, you’ll:
* Lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of information security and assurance frameworks.
* Oversee risk management, compliance reviews, audits, incident response and the protection of organisational assets.
* Provide expert guidance on information security, business continuity and disaster recovery.
* Deliver training and awareness programmes to embed secure behaviours across the organisation.
* Shape secure system designs and manage supplier risks, ensuring outsourced services meet required standards.
* Work collaboratively across teams to align statutory responsibilities, policies and governance.
* Champion innovation and drive positive cultural change in security and assurance practices.
What They’re Looking For

* Solid experience in information security management, including policy development, governance frameworks and risk-based decision-making.
* Strong understanding of key standards such as GovAssure, Cyber Essentials, ISO27001 and ISO22301.
* Experience influencing stakeholders, advising senior leaders and communicating complex security concepts in a clear, accessible way.
* A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to anticipate risks and strengthen resilience.
* Hands-on experience managing incidents, audits, assurance activity and supplier compliance.
* The ability to design and deliver training that inspires secure behaviours across all levels of the organisation.
* A collaborative leadership style that empowers others and builds strong cross-functional relationships.
