Head of Event Operations
Pay: £50,000 – £65,000 base + bonus
Location: Hybrid, Oxfordshire
Leading B2B events business seeks a highly talented Head of Operations to lead across conferences, exhibitions and networking events.
Responsibilities:
* Coach and develop Operations Managers and Coordinators in the delivery of their allocated events and plan own events.
* Oversee and execute portfolio of events within industry leading portfolio.
* Manage complete operational aspects, including full budgetary control and maximizing portfolio profitability.
Qualifications:
* Established track record of delivering international, large-scale and complex B2B events – conferences/exhibitions; experience running international events desirable.
* Technical experience in floor plan creation, rigging, health & safety, and adding creative flair to networking experiences.
* Demonstrable experience collaborating with partners ancillary to large‑scale events (city, transport, party, or other partners).
* Extensive experience in team management/line management with ability to coach and develop people.
* Experience in venue and supplier contracting and negotiation.
* Confident decision‑making, thought leadership and focus on solutions and results with accountability.
