Role: Account Manager
Location: Manchester office, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM 5:30 PM (5 days in office)
Salary: Up to £28,000
Commission: Uncapped £10-20k OTE in year 1
Commission is linked to client retention and account growth (hitting targets)

Opportunity to grow the number of accounts managed
Progression into a leadership or client directorship role
Responsibilities:
Account Manager (AM)
Manage 2-4 client accounts
Spend approx. 75% of time on outbound sales activity
Spend approx. 25% of time conducting client meetings, campaign management and support data-driven tasks
In future, AMs may specialize in specific sectors
Client Accounts:
Vary across lots of different sectors: Marketing, SaaS, construction
Meetings done on teams and clients may be met in person in the future
In time, AMs may specialize by sector
Candidate Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of B2B cold calling experience
Must be comfortable with high outbound activity and prospecting
Does not need prior Account Manager experience this could be a step up
Self-starter with ability to book meetings independently
Needs consultative sales style, strong sales processes and solution sales approach.
Strong sales methodologies and proactive self-development in sales (books, podcasts etc) a big bonus.
Not suitable for transactional sellers, e.g. someone selling on price vs pain points.

This is a new role due to team restructure and company growth
The business is currently bridging the gap between Sales Reps and Account Managers
Strong preference for candidates with experience beyond entry-level cold calling must bring a higher level of experience than the existing team
