Academics is currently recruiting for a reliable and skilled IT Technician to work in a supportive school environment in Dartford, starting October 2025. This is an excellent opportunity to join a thriving educational setting and play a key role in maintaining and supporting the school’s IT infrastructure.
Role Responsibilities:
* Provide first-line technical support to staff and students
* Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues
* Maintain and manage IT equipment across the school
* Support the implementation of new technologies and software systems
* Ensure all systems run smoothly to support teaching and learning
Candidate Requirements:
* Previous IT support experience (school experience preferred but not essential)
* Solid understanding of Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and basic networking
* Good communication and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
