Overview
We are a large Care company that still manages to maintain that warm family feel, with great support networks to include regular supervision, coaching, and mentoring for our staff. We keep our homes small for that personal touch and to ensure a person-centred approach for each person that lives with us. We encourage feedback from staff to allow us to continue to grow as a care company and remain connected with the staff who provide the hands-on care that we provide. We aim to support the people that live with us to do so as independently as possible. Providing great training opportunities for our staff to ensure they have all the skills that they need to assist the lovely people that we look after, to live a safe, structured, and fulfilled lifestyle.
Location
Whitehaven is a registered care home with 11 beds and currently has 11 lovely people residing with us who receive support from our friendly kind staff team, we would love you to join the team.
Responsibilities
* Our staff, support adults with mental ill-health conditions and learning disabilities in a care home environment, including supporting with daily living skill development, personal care, community-based activities, and working with some behaviours which may present as challenging.
* If you are resident in the UK, eligible to work without restriction and do not need sponsorship, we would love to hear from you.
* Applicant must hold a driving licence
* When working a full shift, meals are free.

* NVQ upon passing of probation (we will offer NVQ upon passing of probation).

Schedule
Whitehaven is waiting to hear from you. Our clients require care 24/7 therefore weekend work is required but a shared responsibility to give you some free weekend time. Shift patterns are 12-hour shifts. We can offer part-time contracts with the opportunity of an enhanced rate over time although this is not mandatory.
