Main duties of the job
Our Clinical Support Assistants play a key role in maintaining a safe and efficient clinical environment for the wider healthcare team.
The Clinical Support Assistant role involves ensuring clinical areas are clean, organised, and fully stocked with up-to-date supplies and equipment.

Job responsibilities
* Ensuring all store cupboards,drawers, shelving and work surfaces in all clinical rooms are clean, tidy andstocked with in date consumables and equipment
* Supporting with interimefforts to support cleanliness in the building eg: supporting with spills andhighlighting areas missed by cleaning contractors (in clinical rooms) andmaking good where sensible and safe to do so
* Liaising with the PracticeManager and handyman where issues are identified, specifically, but not limitedto, clinical areas
* Completing visual inspectionsof equipment, specifically within, but not limited to, clinical areas andreporting any damage
* Maintaining all stock ofclinical supplies for the practice team
* Checking all samples arelabelled and stored correctly and ready for collection by the pathology team
Person Specification
Experience
* Cleaning experience (domestic or commercial)
* Health & safety
* An interest in clinical environments
* An interest in healthcare assistance (e.g. phlebotomy)
