Overview

We have an opportunity for a Specialist Nurse - Breast Care to join our team of staff in the Outpatients department.
This is a full‑time role for 37.5 hours a week, covering a flexible shift pattern.
Duties Of This Role Include
* Act as a clinical expert in cancer pathways, supporting diagnosis, treatment, follow‑up and survivorship care.
* Undertake specialist assessments, contributing to holistic care planning, symptom management and ongoing review.
* Provide emotional, psychological and practical support to patients and carers throughout the cancer journey.
* Work closely with Consultants, MDT members, allied health professionals and support services to deliver coordinated care.
* Ensure practice is compliant with national guidance, professional standards and Circle Health Group policies.
* Keep up to date with advances in oncology practice, maintaining professional knowledge and skills.
Applicants Should Meet The Following Criteria
* Registered Nurse (Adult, Child, or Mental Health, depending on specialty) with valid NMC registration.
* Significant post‑registration experience in the relevant specialty area.
* Demonstrable specialist knowledge and advanced clinical skills within a defined field. Experience working as a Specialist Nurse, Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS), or equivalent.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Postgraduate qualification or recognised specialist training in the relevant clinical area.
* Non‑medical prescribing qualification (if applicable to role).
* Experience in audit, service improvement, or clinical leadership.
* Teaching or mentorship qualification.
