Inspire a love of movement and dance! We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Physical Education to join our dynamic and successful PE department in a sports-focused academy in West London. This is a full-time, permanent position commencing in April 2025.

About the Role:
* Teach Physical Education across Key Stages 3 and 4
* Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to a variety of learning styles and abilities.
* Choreograph and teach dance routines in a variety of styles.
* Lead extracurricular dance clubs and activities.
* Organize and participate in school sports competitions and dance performances.
* Assess student progress, set targets, and provide constructive feedback to support individual learning journeys.
* Contribute to the department's curriculum development and resource creation, ensuring that our PE curriculum remains relevant and challenging.
* Foster a love of Physical Educationin students, encouraging them to lead active and healthy lifestyles.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues in the department and across the school to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
* Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching practice and keep abreast of the latest developments in PEeducation.
Ideal Candidate:
* Holds QTS or equivalent.
* Possesses excellent subject knowledge in Physical Education with a specialism in Dance.
* Demonstrates a passion for teaching PEand a commitment to student success.
* Has strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
* Is confident in building rapport with students and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Has a good understanding of the National Curriculum for PE.
* Is committed to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
