A specialist school in Ferryhill is recruiting Inclusion Support Assistants to support pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to positively impact the lives of young people every day.
Your Role
* Build positive relationships with pupils
* Support emotional regulation and behaviour management
* Deliver one-to-one and small-group interventions
* Encourage engagement within lessons
* Support pupils during less structured parts of the day
* Work as part of a dedicated multidisciplinary team
We're Looking For
* Experience working with children, young people or vulnerable adults
* Excellent communication skills
* A calm and empathetic nature
* Resilience and adaptability
* Commitment to supporting inclusion and personal development
* Enhanced DBS or willingness to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
