Job: Maintenance Engineer
Location: Slough
Term: Permanent
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off days (7am-7pm) or nights (7pm-7am)
Salary: GBP 35,000-55,000, dependent on experience
The Maintenance Engineer Will Ideally Have the Following Attributes
* Strong hands‑on engineering skills: fault finding, dealing with machinery failures, maintenance, breakdown, and repair
* Time Served Apprenticeship / NVQ / HNC / HND / BTEC / Degree qualified or similar in an Engineering discipline
* Background in Mechanical or Electrical disciplines
* Ability to work safely and methodically
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Proven ability to work effectively in a team
* A flexible and proactive attitude towards work
The Maintenance Engineer Role Will Involve
* Working in a team to improve and maintain machinery
* Being proactive in ensuring the smooth running of all equipment
* Preventive preventive maintenance (PPM) and breakdown avoidance
* Ensuring documentation is maintained and Health and Safety standards are met
* Ensuring efficiency and a high standard of work across the site
* Collaborating with others and being an excellent team player
