At HomeLink Healthcare, we’ve been pioneering Hospital at Home services since 2016 in partnership with the NHS and private healthcare providers. Our clinically led, CQC-regulated services—from virtual wards and IV therapy to admission avoidance and reablement—help reduce hospital delays, free up capacity, and improve patient outcomes.
Now, we’re expanding into the private healthcare market and are looking for a commercially driven Business Development Manager to lead this exciting growth journey.
The Role
As Business Development Manager (Private Healthcare), you’ll be central to developing and executing our private sector growth strategy. Reporting to the Head Of Sales & Marketing, you will:
* Lead business development with private hospitals, insurers, consultants, and GP practices
* Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, securing new partnerships and contracts
* Respond to tenders and proposals with compelling, evidence-based solutions
* Use outcomes data and case studies to demonstrate value to clients
* Collaborate with providers to design new care pathways (e.g. early discharge, admission avoidance)
* Conduct market analysis to shape strategy and stay ahead of competitors
* Represent HomeLink Healthcare at events, forums, and industry discussions
* Ensure all commercial activity aligns with clinical, regulatory, and governance standards
About You
We’re looking for a strategic, entrepreneurial business developer with:
* 5+ years sales/business development experience in private healthcare
* Proven success delivering and exceeding sales targets
* Strong knowledge of private medical insurance models and provider contracts
* Experience in pathway development or clinical service design
* Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills
* Analytical mindset with experience in KPIs, forecasting, and market intelligence
* A proactive, resilient, and commercially astute approach
