Marine Account Manager - Central Belt

Are you a dynamic and adaptable Sales Account Manager who can naturally build strong relationships and influence positive outcomes? As a field‑based Sales Account Manager at Hilti you will be provided with ongoing development and support to maximise your potential and build a successful sales career – backed by a nurturing culture that enables you to thrive.
In this field‑based role you’ll be pivotal in the management and development of our Marine accounts and, with extensive training, will be the go‑to expert providing innovative solutions to customer operations, including maintenance, repair, and new‑build. You will support the Hilti product portfolio in our Offshore division, Oglaend System – a Hilti Group Company with a well‑established brand in the offshore and marine industries.
Your ability to identify opportunity, build trust, and convert leads into long‑term partnerships will be key to your success. By visiting customer sites Monday to Friday, you will be present and able to build relationships, advise on products, and demonstrate the right tools and products for the customer’s needs.
What does the role involve?
* Develop clear strategies and plan visits to customer sites located across your designated region, gaining a deep understanding of their needs to provide tailor‑made solutions that grow profitability.
* Identify opportunities to attract new business avenues, grow current accounts, and work on key focus areas. Work with colleagues in your division and Business Developers to ensure sustainable and profitable growth.
* Sit alongside showcasing our products while developing key customer relationships and proactively identifying new business opportunities, including upselling new product ranges.
* Take full ownership of the operational, organisational, and strategic account management of your sales area using your skills and our CRM system, Salesforce, to stay connected, informed, and efficient.

What you need
Essential requirements
* Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points and willingness to travel.
* Proof of eligibility to work in the UK; this role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Additional requirements
* Experience working in B2B sales with a strong drive to outperform and build robust pipelines.
* Comfortable working on site every day Monday to Friday in a fully field‑based role.
* Solution‑oriented approach, with the ability to uncover customer pain points and needs to promote our best‑suited solutions.
* Resilience, adaptability and ability to meet all levels of customers from a Site Operator to Managing Director.
* Drive, curiosity and a motivated approach to achieve success and overcome challenges, with a passion to learn, develop and grow.
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work autonomously to manage time and priorities effectively.
