This role includes ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and according to safety and quality standards. The Graduate Site Engineer will coordinate with various stakeholders, supervise construction activities, and provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle.Your Role will Encompass:Studying and understanding each project’s design as provided by the engineering headquarters. Crosschecking and reporting any errors to the Construction ManagerReporting verbally on a daily basis to the Construction Manager regarding the construction progress and the materials receivedMonitors the stock of construction materialsSupervises and supports subcontractor activities and compliance to the designCommunicates design changes and updates to the subcontractors and ensures complianceMonitors and ensures subcontractor quality controls are in placeImplements the Project Quality Control programOverviews each subcontractor’s installation work quality and the precision to the design. Reports to the construction manager every time there is a quality breachEvaluates construction methods and determines cost-effectiveness of plans according to experienceInvestigates damages, accidents or delays at the site, to ensure that proper procedures are being carried outSupports the implementation of corporate QHSE ProceduresWhat you Bring to the Role:Maximum 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in utility-scale Solar PV or BESS construction. Other backgrounds such as wind or oil & gas will also be considered.University or Technical Degree in Civil, Electrical or Mechanical EngineeringProficiency in the English languageExcellent use of Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD softwareUK driving licenseFull UK working rights
