The role:
The Marketing Communications Manager is a brand new role, and reporting into the Head of marketing you will play a key role in shaping the brand both internally and externally. You will have responsibility for delivering clear and consistent communications and leading the development and implementation of of a fully integrated marcomms strategy.
You’ll lead on PR, sponshorship and events initiatives to build profile and reputation in key growth markets, as well as creating and delivering a content-led client engagement programme to drive loyalty, as well asbringing on board new internal communication channels and content to help increase staff engagement.
Social media will come under your remit and you’ll work closely with digital and paid media teams to ensure consistency in tone of voice and approach. You’ll plan, write, edit and manage content across digital, print, PR, social, email and sales materials and will manage content calendars and workflows, and you’ll undertake all the relevant performance metrics analysis and reporting.
You’ll work with senior stakeholder, as well as external agencies and freelancers.
What we’re looking for:
You’ll be a real story-teller and you’ll be as at home with PR and comms elements of the role as you are with the more traditional marketing elements, and you’ll be able to demonstrate experience across PR, events, sponsorships, social media and content marketing as well as showing examples of internal communications initiatives.
You’re likely to have at least 5 years’ marketing experience and have worked within a manager level position previously, ideally to include some people management. You’ll have demonstrable experience of managing agencies and external partners and will be a real relationship-builder.

Salary for the role is c£50,000, and the role is offered on a hybrid basis, 3 days in the office, but there’s also flexible working available including variable start and finish times.
