The role
We are currently looking for a National Sales Manager to lead our new fabricator business ambitions.As part of the Sales Team, you will work alongside Business Development Managers and the Marketing Team to identify and convert new opportunities in line with VEKA’s new business ambitions.You will be responsible for the whole new business pipeline, from identifying and attracting business, through to producing and presenting compelling commercial arguments. You must be a self-starter who is driven, resilient and tenacious to succeed in the role. Strong attention to detail is required, along with problem solving skills and the capability to understand technical data
What you'll do
* Lead all new fabricator business development across the UK and Ireland, delivering against revenue and margin targets.
* Build and manage a strong, sustainable sales pipeline using proactive networking and industry engagement.
* Deliver tailored sales strategies and compelling pitches based on customer needs and market intelligence.
* Drive the full sales journey from initial contact through onboarding and handover, ensuring an excellent customer experience at every stage.
* Work with Marketing to create and follow through on bespoke lead generation campaigns.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, competitor activity, pricing strategies and legislation.
* Share insights and recommendations with the Board and Sales Team, including through clear monthly reporting.
* Represent VEKA externally with professionalism and energy, positioning yourself as the go-to contact for new business in our sector.
* Collaborate across departments to support successful implementation of new business accounts.
What you'll need
* A strong track record in new business development within a B2B sales environment, ideally in manufacturing, building products, or fenestration.
* Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to spot opportunities, build trust, and convert leads.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
* Self-motivation, confidence, and resilience when working independently and at pace.
* Commercial acumen with the ability to structure deals and own financials in line with margin expectations.
* Good understanding of CRM systems, video conferencing tools, and digital engagement methods.
* A collaborative approach to teamworking and a desire to contribute to VEKA’s long-term success.
