Schedule: Monday to Friday | 07:00 – 19:00

Responsibilities
* Be the first point of contact for employees, clients, and VIP visitors. Combine exceptional customer service with a vigilant security mindset, ensuring the highest standards of safety, discretion, and presentation at all times.
* Protect our customer’s property, people, and assets by providing security services in direct accordance with the site’s published Assignment Instructions (AI’s) and any subsequent changes.
* Deliver results that meet and/or exceed the Key Performance Indicators / Service Level Agreement for the customer, through responsibility and accountability, contributing to contract retention.
* Undertake additional training to ensure continuous self-development.
* Ensure compliance with all policies and relevant legal/regulatory requirements as directed by the Security Account Manager and in accordance with UK law and guidance bodies.
* Fully complete all tasks and duties on site as defined within the published Assignment Instructions (AI’s).
* Review the published Assignment Instructions to stay informed of changes and suggest amendments to improve the current level of service.
* Comply with industry and statutory legislation (including obtaining a front-line licence in Security Guarding or Door Supervision) and wear the licence at all times; CCTV PSS SIA Licence; comply with additional required courses.
* Follow legal obligations and safety requirements of the role; follow instructions and procedures appropriately without unnecessarily challenging authority; work in a systematic, methodical way.
Training
* Fully and satisfactorily complete all required competency training.
* Undertake additional training to ensure continuous self-development as directed by the Security Account Manager.
* Use technology to achieve key work objectives and develop job knowledge through ongoing professional development.
* Renew your licence 16 weeks before expiry.
Security and Health & Safety
* Look out for and report Health & Safety hazards on site.
* Stay alert to threats or changes within the work environment and take appropriate action to reduce disruption, loss or damage.
* Use common sense and involve others if a situation becomes threatening.
* Maintain professional conduct in difficult situations and with challenging customers.
* Complete an accurate notebook entry after any incident for use in the Incident Report process.
* Keep to schedules and demonstrate commitment to Mitie and the Client.
* Ensure check calls are carried out at the allocated time slot as stipulated in the AI’s.
* Escalate by calling emergency services and the Communications Centre to report all incidents.
