Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance professional to support our Advance Detection Systems business. This role is a vital part of our quality team, ensuring world-class standards for our RTT X-ray system used in the security screening market. You will play a key role in maintaining the highest quality and reliability of our detection devices.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide general support to the QA department in all quality-related matters.
2. Assist with third-party surveillance and customer audits, including corrective actions.
3. Manage the internal audit program, perform internal audits, and manage corrective actions.
4. Maintain the Quality Management System, including inspection and test data.
5. Assist the Quality Director and Quality Manager in resolving customer complaints.
6. Produce Quality Plans to ensure compliance with customer contract requirements.
7. Direct, maintain, and improve calibration processes and management of items and tooling requiring calibration.
8. Investigate and action quality-related issues and failures, including containment, root cause investigation, corrective action, and issue elimination.
9. Guide the Material Review Board, disposition of rejected parts held in quarantine, including containment actions.
10. Monitor and measure quality data and record KPIs to trend Quality performance.
11. Provide analysis to support and lead Quality improvement programs.
12. Represent Quality in the Change Control Board (CCB), Engineering Change Orders (ECO), and New Product Introduction (NPI).
13. Review and approve Deviations and customer Variation From Baseline (VFB) requirements.
14. Ensure Quality test processes/procedures and records encompass changes related to released ECOs.
15. Liaise with Supplier Quality, review and approve Supplier first article inspection reports.
16. Oversee and perform product verification, including Goods Inwards Inspection and RTT verification.
17. Lead Customer Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).
