The Role:
To lead and deliver complex technical implementation projects for customers, including multi-site international equipment refreshes, audits, infrastructure updates, managed and professional services. The Project Manager will ensure all projects are scoped, planned, agreed and executed in line with the customer’s expectations, contracts, internal standards and agreed timelines, while driving continuous improvement and supporting the company’s strategic objectives.
What You’ll Be Doing:
5. Lead the end-to-end delivery of customer transformation projects, ensuring alignment with customer goals, timelines, budgets and quality standards.
6. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building trusted relationships and ensuring clear, proactive communication throughout the project lifecycle.
7. Translate customer business needs into actional solutions, plans, and successful delivery execution.
8. Develop and manage detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, resource allocation, risks, dependencies, issue resolution, and escalations.
9. Coordinate cross-functional teams (internal and external) to deliver the project goals and objectives.
10. Monitor project performance against agreed KPIs and prepare regular status reports for stakeholders at all levels, internal and external.
11. Identify risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
12. Lead change management activities to drive adoption and long-term success of transformation initiatives.
13. Proactively manage customer change and scope creep, with change control notes to supported customer contract agreements and company processes.
14. Contribute to continuous improvement of project delivery methodologies and customer engagement practices.
15. Adhere to the Company ISO Business Management system, policies and procedures at all times.
16. Contribute and drive internal business transformation projects where required.
What We’re Looking For:
17. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage C-level executives as well as technical teams.
18. Detail-oriented with strong proactive problem-solving capabilities.
19. Proven experience of delivering and project management of complex end customer information infrastructure contracts/programmes of work to demanding business critical commercial customers, ideally for VAR, MSP, or SI technology companies, to budget.
20. Experience managing multi-site rollouts and audits, with demonstrable success in delivering projects on time. Preferably with an international dimension.
21. National UK and international travel. Customer projects are usually UK focused, with larger international projects delivered remotely from the UK with local hands by default. More complex projects may be executed from the customer’s site within the country of delivery.
22. Strong project management expertise, with PMP, PRINCE or Agile/Scrum certification in an ITIL (v) framework.
23. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
24. Customer delivery of complex information infrastructure (networking, compute, storage, communications, identity, and security) projects.
