We’re recruiting compassionate and dependable SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils across primary and secondary schools in Crawley and the surrounding areas. You’ll work closely with students who require additional support—both academically and emotionally—helping them feel safe, confident, and ready to learn. The Role As an SEN Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include: Providing one-to-one and small group support for pupils with special educational needs Supporting pupils’ learning, behaviour, and emotional wellbeing Helping children remain engaged, focused, and confident throughout the school day Assisting teachers with classroom activities, routines, and lesson delivery Creating a calm, positive, and inclusive learning environment Adapting to a range of school settings, age groups, and individual SEN requirements What We’re Looking For We’re keen to hear from candidates who demonstrate: Experience working with children or young people (education, care, youth work, or similar backgrounds welcomed) A calm, patient, and empathetic approach Confidence supporting pupils across a variety of needs and settings A genuine passion for helping children reach their full potential An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) Why Work With Supply Desk?
