AOCS Engineer Alexander Associates are working with a new space company who are developing cutting-edge satellites. As they gear up for their first mission, they’re in a critical growth phase and are seeking an experienced AOCS Engineer to join their fast-growing team. What You’ll Do: Lead AOCS architecture design, including sensors, actuators, and control algorithms. Develop and implement attitude control and pointing algorithms Model, simulate, and validate system performance Select and integrate AOCS components (e.g., reaction wheels, star trackers) Run hardware-in-the-loop and in-orbit tests Support GNC operations post-launch Document and communicate technical progress clearly What You Bring: Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred) 2–5 years’ experience in spacecraft AOCS development and testing Strong grasp of sensors, actuators, and control systems Proficiency in C/C++, Python, MATLAB; experience with Git Solid understanding of orbital mechanics and system integration Hands-on experience with simulations and hardware testing Why Join Us: Work on breakthrough propulsion tech for ultra-low orbits Own full lifecycle responsibilities and make a real impact Competitive salary with equity Full health coverage (medical, dental, optical), annual check-ups, and more
