We are looking for a candidate to work full time (37.5 hours, Monday-Friday) and support our Administration team, based at Station Medical Centre.
The applicant will need to have a keen eye for detail, ability to work to process, complete work efficiently and within KPIs, possess a good telephone manor, have good communication skills, and be a team player who can also work well independently.

Main duties of the job
Job Summary:
* Ensure that all contacts from patients and third parties, over the telephone and electronically, are greeted in a friendly, helpful manner and handled courteously, efficiently, and confidentially at all times.
* Ensure that all requests and enquiries are handled courteously, efficiently, and in line with practice policies and procedures.
* Ensure that the filing and recording of patient information both electronic and manual is promptly handled with care and in line with practice policies and procedures.
* Help to ensure that the surgery premises are kept safe and tidy at all times.
* Support the clinicians in their role.
* Alert a supervisor or manager to any problems or concerns from staff or patients when necessary.
Provide general assistance to the practice team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone.

* A good standard of general education, including:
* English and Maths at GCSE level or equivalent.
