About the Role
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Psychiatric Support Workers to join our multidisciplinary team at Cygnet Bury Forestwood. You will play a pivotal role in supporting young individuals facing challenges such as psychosis, self-harm, depression, anxiety, and emerging personality disorders. Your work will be integral in providing therapeutic interventions and assisting in the delivery of personalised care plans.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the implementation of care plans tailored to individual needs
* Support the delivery of therapeutic activities and interventions
* Monitor and report on the mental health and well‑being of service users
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, psychologists, and nurses
* Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records in line with regulatory standards
* Promote a safe and supportive environment for both service users and staff
Essential Qualifications & Experience
* Experience working with young people in a mental health or care setting
* Understanding of mental health conditions and therapeutic interventions
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively within a team
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people
