IT Teacher – Leeds

Salary: £150 – £220 per day (dependent on experience)

The Education Network is currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and innovative IT Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in the Leeds area. About the Role:
We are seeking a qualified and motivated IT Teacher to deliver engaging and effective lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential opportunities to contribute to Key Stage 5. The successful candidate will be expected to plan and deliver high-quality lessons, support pupils’ progress, and actively contribute to the wider school community.
Key Responsibilities:
* Delivering the IT/Computing curriculum in line with national standards
* Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
* Assessing and tracking student progress
* Supporting extracurricular activities and IT enrichment programmes
* Collaborating with colleagues to develop innovative teaching resources
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience teaching IT/Computing in a secondary school setting
* Strong classroom management skills
* A passion for technology and education
* An enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willing to obtain one)
