We seek an ambitious, experienced and self-motivated postdoctoral researcher with experience in cell-matrix biology and vesicle trafficking pathways, and an excellent publication record to join our team aiming to understand the biology and peritoneal metastasis of high grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC). We will combine cutting edge imaging approaches with mass spectrometry-based proteomics to understand how cancer cells interact with extracellular matrix in the metastatic niche to promote HGSOC progression. The position will be held in the Manchester Cell-Matrix Centre, which has an international reputation for excellence in the field matrix biology and offers a fantastic setting for postdoctoral training and research. The Centre is extremely well supported by Core Facilities offering access to and training in the use of cutting-edge technologies including bioimaging, electron microscopy, mass spectrometry, genomic and transgenic technologies. The post is available from Summer 2025 and full time for up to 18 months.
