This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
Under the guidance of a Specialist Radiographer, perform Mammographic examinations, providing direct care and a high-quality diagnostic imaging service in order to support the management of the population attending for symptomatic breast imaging and yearly review follow up appointments.
Contribute to the delivery of a high-quality breast imaging service to assist in the management of patients within the directorate of Radiology
Provide the day-to-day organisation of New Patient Clinic and Review sessions and related Quality Assurance tests whilst working under the guidance of a Specialist Radiographer.
