The Role: As the global sales representative, you will promote and sell our core services to meet the needs and desires of our clients in a global marketplace. Generating and converting enquiries to increase analytical testing, training and membership whilst supporting customers in understanding the products and services available. Main duties: Responsible for promoting and selling all analytical and performance testing services through developing relationships with existing clients as well as identifying and pitching to potential new clients Cross-sell all our products and services, including training and membership, which may involve presentations to the clients. Engaging customers by focusing on their needs as well as resolving any issues they may have Maintain contact with potential clients to continually develop sales through relationships Follow-up incoming web enquiries where required from prospective customers Find new and innovative ways of meeting the demands and needs of customers Track all leads on the CRM and focus on converting these leads Ensuring all administration is kept up to date in the CRM including the sales tracker for our weekly sales meetings, follow-ups and future appointments and calls Achieving and exceeding monthly targets Help Identify new areas/industries where it adds value to the business Ensuring sales activity is recorded including visit reports and all actions are followed up Attend any relevant exhibitions that promote the sale of our products Occasional Support on overdue accounts and payments Qualifications What We Are Looking For: Ideally degree educated in a chemical-related subject or proven experience in the testing sales industry Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to quickly establish rapport and promote our product offering in a clear, concise and friendly manner, both on the phone and face-to-face A driven, enthusiastic and confident individual with customer service and sales experience Motivated by working in a goal-driven and targeted environment and achieving results Demonstrates a self-motivated, resilient and above all positive approach Ability to travel to client sites across the country (pool car provided) and international travel when required Additional Information Office-based role in Northampton. Weekly working hours are 37.5 per week.
