Job Description
The Oracle E-Business Suite Portfolio Director within the Enterprise Applications practice will lead a team of over 80 consultants and support more than 30 customers, managing a portfolio worth approximately £/€8m. Reporting to the Head of ASPIRE Managed Services, you will oversee the delivery of ASPIRE Managed Services. This senior role offers opportunities for further progression into practice leadership roles within Version 1.
ASPIRE is a value-driven approach to Managed Services, emphasizing continuous improvement, value, and business innovation. As a Portfolio Director, you will lead the team, deliver value to customers, support business growth, and contribute to the ASPIRE strategy, especially in value-added initiatives.
You will have full ownership of the portfolio's P&L, likely having prior experience in portfolio or program management with responsibility for budgets between £/€500k and £/€3m or more. Experience in delivering Customer First outcomes and managing transformational change involving ERP systems is essential. Skills such as team inspiration, commercial acumen, bid leadership, curiosity, and willingness to learn are highly valued. Oracle Business experience is mandatory, with a background as a Functional Consultant preferred.
You will be central to shaping and delivering key proposals, recognized as a leader who can coordinate the right team to deliver solutions, understand customer needs, address challenges, and balance commercial aspects to foster organizational growth.
Qualifications
Experience in leading teams, managing and growing project/customer portfolios, and developing solutions that meet customer challenges is required. You should be comfortable engaging with customers, balancing multiple demands, leading diverse teams, and promoting core values.
* Experience in leading and delivering bids under time pressure, including pricing and presentations; pre-sales experience is a plus.
* Strong commercial awareness with the ability to manage and analyze GP, EBITDA, and margins.
* Proven ability to retain satisfied customers.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across teams.
* Ability to recruit, develop, and resource a strong consulting team.
Role Responsibilities
The role focuses on three key areas: Customer Delivery, Commercial Growth, and People Leadership.
Customer Delivery
You will be responsible for end-to-end customer engagement, ensuring customer satisfaction, understanding their ways of working, and delivering successful outcomes. You will participate in customer forums and occasionally travel to client sites.
Commercial Growth
You will collaborate with Commercial teams to develop proposals, support growth initiatives, and deliver profitable results. You will manage your P&L, forecast team costs and revenues, analyze performance, and implement corrective actions as needed.
You will lead a diverse team across multiple locations, ensuring high engagement and delivery excellence through methodologies and accelerators.
