The Role
Working as an Interior Plant Maintenance Technician, you will carry out maintenance of tropical plants within a wide sector of businesses, ensuring the best possible service is provided to our ever‑growing customer base. You will work with a friendly and welcoming team in a busy, fast‑paced environment. Progression and development are encouraged.
Main Duties
* Watering, feeding and pest control of live plant displays
* Replacing dead, dying or overgrown plant displays
* Maintain artificial plant displays
* Assist with plant display installations
* Assist with seasonal installations
* Ensure all maintenance dockets and documentation are completed
* Comply with relevant health and safety
* Build good supplier and customer relationships
* Be mindful of possible sales opportunities
Qualifications & Experience
* Full UK drivers licence
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Able to work as part of a team
* Plant knowledge would be advantageous
* Qualification in Horticulture is desirable, but not essential
* Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous; full training will be provided

* Comply with all relevant health and safety requirements
* Ensure that the clients are always completely satisfied
* Initiate suggestions to improve the organisation’s performance
* Complete timesheets and other paperwork and ensure all is handed in promptly
