Being a community team, you will be required to travel to different locations within the Scottish Borders for clinics, drop-ins etc, however the central base for the team is in Galashiels. The Borders Addiction Service working pattern is Monday-Friday, 9-5. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in this dynamic area of nursing. BAS is looking to recruit 1 registered nurse to its team. Role: The nurse will work as a member of a multidisciplinary/multi-service working in both a clinical setting as well as the more informal drop-ins, looking to offer holistic care and support for people with addiction issues provided across the Scottish Borders, You will have the opportunity to work with-in this innovative nationally recognised team being the first NHS board in Scotland to meet the first 5 Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) standards.
