Room Attendant / Housekeeping Team Member
We are currently searching for a passionate and hard working individual to join our Housekeeping Team. You will support our core mission of creating a memorable experience to all of our guests. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in an exciting and unique environment, whilst building your experience within the hospitality industry.
We are ideally looking for someone who is flexible, and willing to work across departments within the hotel.

What you'll do
The Housekeeping Room Attendant is a professional that ensures a positive overall impression of the property as well as providing the necessary service of ensuring clean and comfortable rooms & public areas for guests. The impression created by the Room Attendant is crucial to the reputation and success of the hotel. Therefore, it is essential that the Room Attendant be highly thorough and professional in completing their duties. The successful candidate positively represents the hotel through the daily cleaning of assigned guest rooms, as per the established standards of cleanliness, and through interaction with guests. The Room Attendant is required to maintain a flexible schedule that includes mornings and day shifts, bank holidays and weekends. The hotel encourages all employees to strive for a professional environment that promotes creativity, teamwork and respect and consideration for one another.

Expected Shifts
Two to three days per week to cover a mix of mornings, evenings, bank holidays and weekend shifts. Open to work across departments as required.
Salary
Starting at £12.40 per hour. Opportunity for further increases with skill development and experience.
At Housel Bay, we ensure that there is consistency and transparency in all Job Roles across the hotel, ultimately to attract and to give opportunity to individuals seeking careers in hospitality. We have a Pay Band Structure, into which every Job Role is placed, and allows our employees to see a clear line of progression within the company.
We would like to emphasise that Housel Bay is a year round employer. We close only after the Christmas and New Year festivities, to enable our to staff to have a well deserved break and to give our hotel an opportunity to have any necessary refurbishments. We have career paths with clear team structures, with training opportunities both internally and externally fully supported by the business.
Finally, Housel Bay ensures that 100% of tips are given to staff on a pro-rata basis, which adds about 50p to an individual's hourly rate.
