Job Description
Full-Time - Career Progression
Offices near Stevenage, Hertfordshire
Salary Up to £45,000 (Depending on Experience)
Full study support plus excellent benefits and hybrid working
My client, with offices near Stevenage, is a well-established independent financial advice business that has built a lasting reputation for providing high-quality advice on Pensions, Investments, Retirement Planning, Tax Planning, IHT, Trusts, Mortgages, and some Protections to clients across Hertfordshire. The business has ambitious plans to expand and grow organically. They are looking to hire either a Fully Diploma Qualified Paraplanner or a Junior Paraplanner working towards their diploma.
The firm has experienced impressive exponential growth over the last 15 years. They offer a family-supportive environment and opportunities for career progression and growth. They have long-standing relationships with their clients and are valued members of their community.
Working closely with the firm's Pension Specialists and Financial Planners, knowledge of pensions and drawdown contracts would be desirable but is not essential. If you have achieved or are studying towards a Diploma in Financial Planning, this could be the perfect role for you.
Responsibilities include:
1. Attending client meetings with Advisers
2. Taking detailed notes and preparing comprehensive suitability reports for follow-up client meetings
3. Conducting product research and making recommendations
4. Preparing detailed cash flow analyses for clients
5. Liaising with product providers and investment specialists
6. Administering client files and documenting meetings
7. Providing support for client meetings, including scheduling
8. Participating in annual client review meetings once trained
They provide a structured training program to build technical knowledge and offer greater client exposure, supporting your progression into an Adviser role in the future. The firm has promoted many Junior Paraplanners into Paraplanner roles, making this a proven career pathway. They are seeking someone eager to become an Adviser.
The company is growing through recommendations and referrals, offering plenty of scope for a rewarding career. They offer 3 days in the office and 2 days remote working after probation, along with excellent benefits including a wellbeing suite and a clear career path for ambitious candidates.
If this Junior Paraplanner role interests you or if you're exploring other opportunities, please contact Sam Negbenebor at Financial Divisions for more details.
