Hours: 41.5 hours per week
Work Pattern: Monday - Thursday 7.30am - 4pm and Friday 7.30am - 3.30pm with 3 hours for LETS to be covered
Position Overview
Community and Enterprise resources are looking to appoint a Primary Janitor based at Burnside Primary School, Rutherglen.
The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing all documentation related to the Janitorial and Cleaning functions within the premises.
Responsibilities include carrying out cleaning duties on floors, furniture, fixtures, fittings, sanitary areas, walls, etc.
You will also be required to monitor cleaning standards in line with specifications and COSHH regulations, reporting any issues to management.
Responsibilities
* Effectively communicate with the Facilities Manager, Head of Establishment/Lessee’s, and Team Members to meet customer needs daily.
* Log, monitor, and report all damage/faults related to the fabric and fixtures.
* Liaise with external contractors and lessees, ensuring all Health and Safety and security procedures are followed.
* Monitor the activities of lessees and contractors, reporting any issues to the line manager.
Ensure the unit grounds are kept safe and tidy, free from dangerous articles, ensuring the health and safety of staff and visitors.
