We have an exciting opportunity for a Learning & Development Coordinator to join our team in Bridgend.

This opportunity is being offered on a full-time basis – 37.5 hours per week. There may be some travel involved with this role and therefore a full UK driving license is desirable.

The L&D Coordinator plays a vital support role in the Learning & Development team, working closely with the L&D Business Partner and L&D Trainer to deliver seamless training experience for staff. This role requires a blend of strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills, along with technical proficiency in managing data and reporting.

The L&D Coordinator will serve as a welcoming face to learners and ensure smooth coordination of all training logistics.

What will you be doing?

Training and Qualification Support and Coordination

* Act as a welcoming, friendly presence for learners attending in-person training sessions, ensuring they feel supported and comfortable.
* Prepare training materials, including printing and organising training packs, when requested by trainers, ensuring all resources are ready in advance.
* Organise training venues, set up equipment, and troubleshoot any logistical issues to ensure seamless training experience.
* Support the L&D business partner in responding, sourcing and organising training requests
* Coordinate induction training for new starters, including eLearning.
* Coordinate qualification enrolment and ongoing progress reviews with the learner's manager

Learning Management System and Reporting Management

* Utilise the LMS, using clear learning pathways, to design new events with clear rules

* Utilise the Learning Management System (LMS) to enrol participants, track training attendance, and ensure accurate record-keeping to include trainer led and eLearning training.

* Run regular and ad hoc, as requested, reports on training attendance, completion rates, and other key metrics using LMS and Excel, supporting data-driven decisions in L&D.
* Collaborate with the L&D Business Partner and trainers to manage and maintain training records and databases, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.

Communication and Engagement

* Work with the L&D Business Partners to respond promptly to training requests
* Communicate session details on preferred platforms (e.g. Mirus Connect / Learning Management System), follow up on registration confirmations, and assist learners with any questions or logistical needs.
* Actively support efforts to encourage learner engagement and promote L&D opportunities across the organisation through internal communications.

Collaboration and Team Support

* Work collaboratively with the L&D team to ensure smooth operation of training programs, providing additional support to trainers and the L&D Business Partner as needed.
* Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by providing feedback on training logistics, communication processes, and learner needs.
