Job
Description:
As
a Sales & Purchasing Ecommerce Manager, you will work closely with the
Director’s of the business, in designing and delivering strong business
strategy that will aid in the further success of the retail part of our
business as well as being a visionary leader to our teams. You will be fully
responsible for leading the buying across the business and creating the retail
strategy. You will complete analysis of the retail market, competitors and
trends to develop a strategic sourcing strategy and business goal for the
company. You will enlarge the existing business base and also bring new
business to the company. This is a terrific opportunity for strong leader who

growth.
Responsibilities:

Solid
knowledge and experience of fashion/fitness leisure/sports retail,
merchandising and sales.
·
Experience
in setting up a global distribution process, including sourcing of storage
depots and distribution partners
·
Product
design – designing of new clothing and accessories for our brand, including creating
production sketches for development packages
·
Finalising Tech packs for suppliers to fabricate clothing lines
·
Collaborate with the operational team to select seasonal themes, make
edits to lines and create new concepts
·
Sourcing
relevant suppliers for our retail products
·
Develop long-term relationships with customers and suppliers
·
Communicating
improvements to be made to product samples to suppliers
·
Discussing
trade and the impact this may have on next season’s range
·
Working
with suppliers to develop samples and build a commercial range
·
Researching
market and customer trends, Identifying any new products for the department to
trial
·
Attending
fit sessions and approving or rejecting fits and agreeing packaging and
presentation of product
·
Using
and creating data to review sales, highlighting trends, spikes and dips to the
team and offering suggestions
·
Understanding and keeping up to date
with market to create new season lines
·
Preparing
and presenting weekly department sales information and samples for trade
meetings
·
Negotiating
with suppliers to resolve any issues
·
Negotiate purchasing and sales contracts
·
Ensure sales and purchasing contracts are executed
·
Identify new markets and new potential customers
·
Create regular reports on purchases and sales
Skills
and experience:
·
Experience
of working within a fast-paced fashion retailer, sports retailer or fitness
brand
·
A
full understanding the Buying, Merchandising and sales lifecycle
·
Experience
in designing clothing and merchandise
·
Up
to date with current trends in the market
·
Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
·
Proficient
in presenting to Senior Stakeholders and external partners
·
Excellent
verbal and written communication skills
·
Can
confidently work out cost prices, margins and recommend selling prices
·
Experience in fashion design in the fitness/sports industry (preferred)
