Job Description for Finance Manager/Controller:
We have the existing opportunity for an accountant to join a Solihull based head office within industry. The ideal candidate will have experience within a similar position and be ACCA part/qualified. The company offers an excellent flexible working structure with hybrid working included with 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Over see and manage the companies finance function
2. Support and upskill finance team where possible
3. Management accounts, Monthly & Annual P&L analysis. Identify and implement improvements.
4. Run the monthly payroll process
5. Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns
6. Prepare and submit annual statutory accounts and corporation tax returns
7. Manage cash flows and monitor ledger balances.
8. Coordinate the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
9. Monitor credit control, ensure bad debt is avoided where possible
10. Streamline and improve all financial operations and systems
11. Support the business in implementing its financial strategy
12. Month-end & Year-end
Skills and Attributes required:
13. Management experience desired but not essential
14. Minimum 5 years experience within finance
15. ACCA qualified/Part-Qualified or AAT technician
16. Experience within a Finance Manager, Assistant Accountant, Accountant, Financial Controller or Management Accountant position.
