Electrical Design Engineer - EPLAN
To £60k + Overtime, Pension, TRAINING !

The Role:
* Design electrical systems for all projects where required. This includes electrical schematics, cable schedules, BOM’s, control panel layouts and cable management
* Utilise electrical design software (EPLAN) to create 2D/3D models, circuit diagrams and any applicable calculations that may be required
* Select appropriate components, materials and technologies to ensure efficiency and compliance
* Create control panel and general arrangement drawings, equipment ID’s, and cable/core identification labels
* Attend client sites when required to develop URS / FDS
* Coordinate with manufacturing and production teams to ensure design feasibility and ease of implementation
* Prepare and maintain design documentation and specifications
* Create site layout drawings showing equipment and cable routes
* Manage all required materials, scheduling and workshop builds most efficiently and economically
* Troubleshoot design issues and optimise electrical designs for performance, safety, and efficiency
* Ensure all designs meet industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company safety policies
The Person:
* Education: HNC/D in Electrical Engineering (desirable).
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in Electrical Design CAD software (EPLAN essential).
* Knowledge: Understanding electrical systems, components, and standards BS7671, BS 60204, BS 61439
* Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
