Relevant training is given to enable you to carry out your duties as Customs Agent where you will ensure customs declarations are completed on time and in full to allow goods to move. There are multiple roles available with the following shift patterns:
* 4x4 rotation - 06:00-16:30
* 4x4 rotation - 09:30-20:00.
* 2 week rotation 06:00 14:30 / 12:00 20:30
As Customs Agent your responsibilities will include:
* Preparing and completing customs entries for import and export
* Accurate data entry
* Responding to customs queries, including commodity codes, duty rates, licences and documentation
* Ensuring the calculation of duty and VAT is accurately reflected in the entry acceptance
We are keen to speak to people about these Customs Agent opportunities who have the following skills and experience:
* Customs or logistics knowledge would be highly advantageous
* Strong PC skills including Office 365 packages
* Excellent attention to detail
In return you will receive a salary of £26,000 pa, pension scheme and 29 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays.
