Responsibilities
* Owning a portfolio of client accounts and monitoring client freight needs
* Upselling services and solutions to drive volume
* Conducting regular reviews to identify opportunities, address issues and ensure satisfaction
* Identifying and qualifying new business through cold‑calling, email, networking & CRM tools
* Creating tailored proposals and quotes for prospective clients
* Developing strategic account plans, setting sales targets, and forecasting performance
* Tracking progress against KPIs; reporting on pipeline, revenue, and client health
Qualifications
* At least 2 years' experience in road freight/logistics
* At least 2 years' experience in sales and/or account management
* Ability to identify and develop new opportunities
* Strong track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment
* Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
* Strong negotiation and problem‑solving ability
* Self‑motivated & proactive with the drive to work independently

* Salary up to £35,000 with an OTE of £55,000 (plus uncapped commission)
