Job Purpose:
To ensure that all aspects of warehouse cleaning are conducted to the specified standards in line with standard operating procedures and the agreed warehouse cleaning schedule.
What you'd be looking after on a daily basis:
Cleaning of the warehouse following the specified cleaning schedule.
Responding efficiently to all calls requesting a cleaner.
Ensuring that all cleaning stations contain clean mops and clean water.
Emptying compactors in accordance with the manufacturer's recommended guidelines.
Cleaning the compactor area at the end of the shift.
Emptying all cardboard cages and returning them to their designated place within the warehouse.
Identifying and reporting any failures to follow or complete the cleaning schedule, escalating to the Duty Manager as necessary.
Ensuring that the cleaning schedule is signed off by the Duty Manager or Supervisor at the end of each shift.
Identifying and reporting any equipment failures to the Duty Manager.
Adhering to all aspects of Health & Safety at all times.
Completing any other reasonable tasks requested by management.
